So got her home today and sold the vortech kit within minutes of being home...They didnt get me my sheets in email but she made 505.89 and 464.73 with 5psi. The peak hp number is the same as my vortech 8psi kit but the TQ was down peak about 30. However the tq numbers were 40 above up until 4500. So I got more down low and gave up a bit up top...oh did i mention all of this with 3psi less ;) Man I had traction issues before early now its pointless. Glad I ordered my lsd/axles last week :)

On the way home Ralph and I punched off a bit from 80 and he pulled slightly up till 120. By slightly i mean 1/4 car. It does take some getting used to for the sound. If any of you know what an old m22 rock crusher tranny sounds like its very similar. You can hear the screws a lot when its cold. It goes away warm and is not really noticeable at freeway speeds. Intake temps when full boost are about 104 vs my 130 before. They are read in different places also. Vortech used an IAT pre throttle body where Techco uses a sensor as close to the end of their runner as possible. I noticed also that their temps dont fluctuate as much but the meth doesnt cool as drastically since its now in front of the screws.

A big thanks to Carlos, John and Russ for the work. I know I will be seeing them soon for a few changes :)

Are you overall happier now than when you had the vortech. I guess my question is which one feels more "beastly". Congrats by the way

Sweet new John, Carlos showed me where they were going to plumb the meth. If you don't mind saying, what changes are you going to get done?

Well its hard as I only have a few hours on her and they are total opposites. In traffic and cruising they are both very mellow. Passing is much easier with the techco at part throttle. On the freeway at the top of 3rd the Vortech pulled harder...it was 8psi ;) On the street I rolled into first and short shifted to second and from 35 up its a monster. Its really hard for me to get any good feeling about leaving hard on her yet cause that one poor tire just starts screaming ;)

I was talking with the guys about trying out a 6.5 psi pulley here after I put some miles on her :) Right now I am only seeing 5psi with a really brief blip to 5.3...Oh yeah can anyone say short block and 10psi ;)

I wouldn't be worrying about pulleys until you guys forge your bottom ends. More boost and you will be on borrowed time.
