I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but I'm hoping it's simpler than that. Took my car in for service about 10 days ago, and all seemed to go well. Today, however, I did the ol' button pushin' to find out what my avg MPG was, and low and behold, it's not an option. In fact, while trying to cycle through available options, it seems like it's missing quite a few. What gives? Anyone know? Anything I can reset to get these options back? Or did my dealer tweak something that I need to have them fix? Thanks in advance!
Sounds to me like something got tweaked... all that stuff is standard EVIC and there have only been a couple of additions (and then only in the hidden displays) since 2005? Never heard this one before.
Even fnkychkn on LXForums is stumped. That, alone, cracks my ass up. Now I'm on a mission to figure this out! I sent an e-mail to my dealer, but will probably call tomorrow and follow up. This is fascinating. (Obviously, if anyone has insight, I'm happy to cheat and listen to it.)
UPDATE: SWEET!!!! I'm just an idiot. It's there...it's under the same menu as the "run time" of the vehicle. That's what threw me off. Normally, I just use the menu key to cycle through to get to it, but in an effort to get to TPS, it looks like the dealer cycled through that menu. Everything's there, and nothing was jacked with. Sorry to cry wolf. Thanks to all those that chimed in.
