I have an HID headlight set with the flicker free wiring harness. I bought the lights off another Magnum owner. he said he never had an issue with the HIDs flickering. But I put them in my car and they worked fine for a day and then the second evening, the will work for about 5 minutes or so then BAM first they fade, then brighten and then off on..off on..any ideas on what could be the problem....

    You need a bigger ballast.

Well Marcel chime in here and let me know how much for a more powerful ballast...and when can I get it. I need my headlights working, currently driving with just my 6K HID fogs....

from my understanding moe, and i speak from experience, the flickering is caused by the ballasts not being strong enough (35 watt vs. 55 wt). the pcm looks for a certain voltage from the lights and if it does not sense the correct power levels, then it goes through a diagnostic check to see what is going on, hence the flickering. i know when i got my kit from marcel, he sent me a relay as well, but it still did not work correctly. going to a 55 watt ballast solved everything and no more relays!!!! LOOOOOVE my lights!!!!

ha nice job chris i should be recievign your highs any day now. but ya the problem with most xenons is that not many manufactuers make 55w kits.

Nah.... his ballast is OK.... it's just one of his stickers peeling off and flapping over the lights... makes it seem like it's flickering....Lol!

I'd check to make sure one of your carbon fiber pieces didn't break loose (again) and cut/short out a wire...

... or maybe it was Drew's exhaust that blew it out of whack!

*I was gonna be nice until your Momo comment, assmunch. LMAO!-
