Yes folks... you read the title correctly. I'm getting my windows tinted Monday. $125. I'm actually PSYCHED about this, as this is the only "mod" I've gotten since the used Zoomers! She's silver... how dark should I get the tint? I'm thinking enough to make the windows look heavily smoked (not black).

BECAUSE Ryan... I like the look of a blacked out window (like yours), but the outward vision gets impeded when they're too dark. Us white folks actually watch where we're going on the roads! :boxing::wallbash::thumb3:
Youve seen mine. I went 15% i think on the back window and then matched all the sides at 1 step lighter. I think it was 15 and 21 but it was Quantum tint so they have numbers that are a little differnt then standard stuff. But its a lifetime warranty against discoloring and bubbling.
Yea, Danny at the HOT SPOT in Chula Juana offers the same lifetime warranty against discoloring & bubbling. I haven't had any problems with his work. I'm going to take the wife's Excursion sometime next month.

The catch is Danny is a single person. Quatum is warrantied any where in the country with your warrantey card Make sure he is using tint with no dyes in them.
True DAT! Danny has been there for ten years, so I guess I'm going off that. I wish I had to worry about coverage throughout the US. My wife is from Tijuana, MX baby and has a staple in her arz that won't allow us to move out of SD. A couple of years ago, I couldn't even get her to move to Temecula! Oh well I love SD, so if we stay I'm fine with that. Regarding the DYES, no pucking idea. Maybe Jason will arrest him if he makes a mistake with his ride. HEHEHEHEHEHEHE :bang:
That's the problem I always have. By the time I need the warranty the shop is out of business. Where do you get the Quantum tint?
Where are you going to get it done? Make sure they don't use a metalic based tint. I know how you like listening to those old school AM stations!

After the stuff turning up in toys these days, better make sure the tint doesn't contain Lead, GHB, Paraquat, Cocaine, Meth....... :scare:
