Too broad of a question Kyle.

What are your current gauge needs and what do you expect them to be in the near future? and what are your criteria for monitoring and your criteria for logging?

Let me take a guess for you.
Integrated logging. If you want to get your widebands and OBDII parameters captured in the same log then you've narrowed down the options. Will you want to log and monitor with a dash/installed display or are you ok with doing that with a PC in the car. If it's the former then you're pretty much down to logging with a DashDAQ or Trinity. Both of those will accept a couple of analog inputs and/or also have drivers to accept the serial input from selected mfg gauges. For example, both will accept the serial MTS protocol/signal from Innovate systems, Zeitronics, etc. All your gauges (or at least 5) can be daisy chained onto the serial link and fed into the scan gauge where they will look like separate signals. Otherwise you'll be limited to the number of analog inputs.

The DashDAQ will report the Chrysler specific PIDS. I have yet to get an answer about the Trinity. Naturally they both support the full set of Generic OBDII pids.

As far as I know DashHawk failed to integrate anyones wideband input. You have to log and monitor them separately which is a whole lot less useful.

So... are you strictly looking for a stand alone, single AFR gauge? to use alongside the DashHawk you have now?
or are you maybe going to add some others like EGT, or boost or fuel pressure, etc.

Personally I'm using a PLX AFR with the DM-100 display in the sunglasses holder and analog input into my DashDAQ. heh, I found my pics!

...and where is your EGT gauge going? expandability is always a consideration.

I went to the sunglass holder because my "A" pillar pod was already being used.

    That's cool Ken.

And Dave, I've had the PLX unit for a while now. I really like it. I monitor AF, EGT, tranny temp and oil temp. Very handy.

The pic isn't real good, but F-it, it's only Kyle asking :thongue2:

This pic is looking down through the steering wheel, the position works real good, it's quick glance deal.

And a little better look at the pod.

I have the Zetronix. The RPM input and logging makes matching it up to the Predator logs a breeze.

    UPDATE!!!

I've just added the DashDAQ to my Zeitronix Zt-2.

Many different screens to choose from, and if you don't like what you see, you can make your own skins.

haha, good choice Ken. You do know that the DashDAQ will read transmission fluid temp if you got the Chrysler specific license.

Thanks, and yes, but I think it's crazy that DREW charges $95 for the feature.

Yea, it is kind of a shock since it's not the norm. but then not many (if any?) scanners support those PIDs. DashHawk supports a few and I'm not sure that Diablo supports any over the generic OBDII ones.
