dave - what are the stock settings??? i always thought it was 204 and 219??? i know i set mine at 185 low and 204 high......
Mine are set at 188 and 195 respectfully. And yes, they both work. Like I said, they will work with my original CMR tune, but not the updates Scott has sent me.
Right....I just skimmed through these 3 pages, but...it sounds like the issue lies only with this tune, no?
What's confusing Mike, is the 3 revised tunes that Scott sent will not give the desired fans settings. The only thing Scott has touched were the settings for the dreaded P0129 (Barometric Pressure Too Low) code that I get when at High Elevation and cooler weather. So, the original CMR tune works with the fans, but the other three revised tunes do not. Scott insists that everything is the same other than the setting to try and resolve the P0129. So, it is either keep the original CMR tune (with the fan controls where I want them) or use the revised tunes so I do not go into limp mode when the weather drops under 55* and run a hot temperature. I will take the earlier of the four as 1) My engine build does not like the hot engine temps and 2) the weather is typically hotter now so my P0129 codes don't come around much anymore. So we can wait until fall to resolve the P0129. We would like to get the P0129 resolved now so others that are at my elevation will not have to experience what I have experienced, but I do not want to compromise my engine with hot engine temps... <sigh>
I see...I know Mike W had worked some tunes for a guy that was getting the P0128 codes, not sure if the fix is the same... Either way, it appears that something is not the same between these tunes if the fans aint working. Maybe post up on our forums in the Dodge gas section and see if we can get Mike W to look into this..... Thanks Mike
Will do Mike. Thanks. Oh, P0128 code is thermastat related. P0129 is Barometric Pressure Too Low which we discoverd is effected by a combination of High Altitude and cold weather.
