So for the past 4 months I have been thinking about quarter sleaves (still have to look good for work so they are easy to hide in a short sleeve) So here is my problem and I am stumped and can't really draw well. My left arm says "INION" which is irish gaelic for Daughter and my right arm says "Athair" irish gaelic for Father. both run down the back of my arms. My idea is to keep with my black and white theme and irish style. Maybe something showing strength and/or protection on my right arm, and something showing love on my left arm. Give me your ideas, if you find an image on the web that may fit shoot it my direction, if you have an idea hook it up. Pohos and EQ I will delete any stupid posts from this thread. ill be brainstorming on this one. im a big fan of murals, you can always combine all those things you just mentioned into one small space
mind you I am not afraid of going across my back either but if that is the case I do have a trinity knot that takes up about 5" across my back, Irish themed and black and white. it would be nice to eventually tie my arms and my back together into one large piece
I've always wanted a tattoo, but no nuts to actually do it! I like your idea of right arm with father and adding with some type of strength, protection of even "GUIDANCE" symbol. Then the left with daughter and adding love or "FAMILY"! I'll look into this. Ryan.
