45k on the clock 2k on the new motor and I get 9 miles on the street and 20 on the freeway. thats not jumpping on it. thats normal DD
I'm ashamed to say at 1 month shy of 2 years I'm not even at 6K yet ... but the car has been to Vegas and Oregon and I drive it up Hwy 9 here in the Santa Cruz mountains every chance I get (GREAT twisties!) and it's been to the strip at Infineon and I'm doing a track day at Laguna Seca in Novemeber! Oh, an for the record no probs other than the standard TSB stuff ... coolant, rotors, tranny o-ring, etc.
I have a dd'r for daily commute BUT even if I didn't it wouldn't matter ... 2.5 miles, 5 round trip. I'm just lucky I guess. :thongue2: Speed Ventures, check them out. It's Nov 24th and 25th, a Mon and Tues. They had a date in August but it was only for intermediates and above so I missed out but this time it's open to all. They just opened up registration for it a couple weeks ago so check them out, speedventures.com. It'll be my first time and both Ozzie and Matt Robertson highly recommend them so that's good enough for me.
My 38K includes numerous trips to SoCal for LX events, trips to Vegas for SEMA, a trip to Phoenix, the cross country drive to Georgia and back for the ShinDig, a two mile daily commute for a while, and a couple of weeks worth of driving back and forth to San Francisco to see Maddy and all the trips to her doctors and specialists. I'm driving maybe once every other week now and that's just to the grocery or the post office. Can you say withdrawals?
53K on my 05 Magnum R/T. Had it since 48k only. I drive around 10k per year but plan to get a DD for commuting within a few years and save the miles on the Magnum. Still have the LHS too - but no space to keep two cars at the moment.
I've had my '06 Mag for about 2 1/2 years and I've got about 23,500 miles on it. No problems other than TSB stuff.
