Ok, so I had to fly out to SoCal yesterday for a company restructure and make things work smoothly. lol Anyway, tonight we had a company dinner and decided to take the drive down to San Clemente (about 26 miles south of Irvine, CA). The dinner place was Fisherman's on the Wharf. Mmmmm Now I do NOT like fish unless it is FRESH! I have had Brunch and dinner at Fishermans many many moons (years) ago, so I did not pass up the opportunity to go to Fisherman's. hehe Here was our appetizer. Fisherman's is the BEST for their Steamed Clams. Now the MAIN course. Mmmmm Alaskan KING Crab. Woot. Now I am full. haha
they threw a dungeness on king crab legs???? i would have thrown that sumbitch back at them and told them not to mess around, bring me more legs. haha. nice dinner, im not a big fan of clams, but other shellfish is def on my list.
Looks tasty. I decided to break my diet for a day. So dinner for me was ... Teriyaki salmon with stir fry rice. GIGGITY Back to the gym and Special K for all meals tomorrow.
Not a fan of sea food but its been probally 4 years since ive been on that Wharf. its a really nice walk, great view
Yea, I'm not a fan of Dungeness either. But the King legs were fricken awesome. hehe The clams were very good. Steamed just right.
2 in n out burgers last night for me. Class wiped me out, today will be nuts, class and 3 client sites then meeting my buddy Nate out here late tonight. ugh...
Marc and I are hoping to make it out to the Stinking Rose in SF soonish. He likes the whole crab (dungeness cooked with whole garlic cloves) and I'm craving the prime rib (also cooked with whole garlic). Mmm mmm mmm!
Not a seafood guy. Especially when its staring at me. Reminds me I have a bigass ribeye that needs to come out of the freezer. BBQ on the patio time. Throw some veggies on top, sprinkle a little crushed Lipitor over it all and mmmm mmmm good.
wild king crab is my absolute fav. this was my bday dinner last january: and yes, that is sopranos playing in the background....lol.
