Yes it was. I find it odd how two stupid little lines can make that much of a diffrence! When you get up tommorow we can take it out for a spin. I look forward to showing that prelude what time it is in the morning! 9A is pretty much desolate at 5:45 on the way to work, see what he really has. I stayed on his bumper everytime, just couldn't pass. I honestly do not think he can get around me now! Lol anyway, see you tomorrow...yellow srt huh?

Yeah, glad you got it running right. Don't forget to do a boost leak test after messing with the vac lines. There probably is more power to be had..

Question is: how or why did it get that way? You think the previous owner took parts/mods off of it (that someone else had installed) before selling it and had no idea what went where? or what?

My guess would be that person is an idiot or trying to hide something. Give the car a good look over.

Did you ever pull the numbers off of the WGA to see if someone here can tell you if you have a stock or aftermarket one?

There is alot easier way to do that. Look at where the arm connects to the exhaust manifold. If its threaded then its probably a s2 otherwise its probably a stocker.

I had the AGP on my car for about 3 months and decided to go a different route. So how bout $110 shipped?

Well I do know its not and adjustable wastegate but then again for my car you can get non-adjustable ones to run higher boost. So I would think something like that is available for the SRT-4's. Yes I realise your boost is electronicly controlled as well(my car isnt).

Edit: Why have a different WGA for different stages if its controlled by the computer?

Pretty much every aftermarket direct bolt on wga is adjustable. the s2 will have a bent arm like the stocker. I think the forge also has a bent arm but I'm not sure they make it anymore. The agp, FM and a couple others have a straight arm. So if it isn't adjustable then my money is on it being the stock wga.

As far as different wga's for different stages is based upon spring strength and location I think the s3 sits in a slightly different spot that the stock mani. The s2 wga is just a stronger spring (8lbs IIRC). In any case if you are running a stock or s1 ecu you do have to give the ecu time to "learn" the new wga.

If you plan on going with a diablo or sct tuner from what I have heard people get much better performance off of the stock WGA since you now have control over the solenoid duty cycle. Just some food for thought.
