Does any one no were I can get a belly pan other than the dealer that wants $214. I need the one that goes right below the front bumper. Thanks in advance!:help: 2008 300c SRT8
MoparSuperCenter has them for $140 shipped I believe. Well, pretty close anyway, lol.... http://www.moparsupercenter.com/srt-8-front-fascia-belly-pan5029908ac.html?cat=1206 See, now that was easy. STICK AROUND AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF & hang out dude!!!
Is this a problem? My dealer is replacing the front bumper and the belly pan on mine right now from the old owner. Does this happen often?
5029908AC looks to be the Chrysler part#. Shop around, you should be able to find a dealer willing to deal on it.
Depends: Are you in the habit of nosing into parking spots? Do those parking spots have parking blocks? Do you have a tendency to park with the front bumper over the parking block? If so, how many times will it take you to learn that if you hang the front over a parking block and then back up that it WILL hook on it and likely tear your facia off? Repeat above for any other drivers of your SRT8 :thumb2: P.S. You have 5.5" clearance stock. Standard parking block is 6" tall.
No, I do not do any of that but the previous owner must have because they are replacing the entire front bumper now.
I'm still looking! Mikey from Speedlogix says he might have what I'm looking for. Mine was missing when I bought it. Well hopefully it's the right one. Bee0912 how much is the dealer charging you for this if you don't mind me asking?
Just a note. You might want to stay under warp speed until you get that on there. There are a lot of aerodynamics under the car and I believe that without the front belly pan you have a chance of removing the rear belly pan at high speed.
Yea I also don't won't a whole bunch of debris to get in there also so I really haven't really got on it since I put on the LMI True CAI!
Try RockAuto. Typically pretty decent pricing. I bought one online sometime ago. Can't remember where though... but IIRC part was about $140 and shipping was about $15.

I am on my second front fascia assembly. I learned about results of the occasional rubbing when I wickedly snagged a parking bumper on the first fascia. But...My former work place had big time dips from driveway into the street. You either scraped the bottom or you scraped the corners. I had the angle down to just a bare scrape but it was right at the belly pan "pop in rivets". Soooo... you know the results. Why did chrysler use all plastic hardware here?? They rivet heads were ground away and then the belly pan fell down at 75 mph on the freeway and got ripped from under the car taking the brake ducts with it. (Chrysler was also "smart enough" to put pop in rivets in the belly pan to "help" hold in the brake ducts.) Chrysler.. knew they had a problem here. My original 2006 belly pan did not have "protection ridges" next to the front "pop in rivets". The later one installed as part of the front end replacement in 2008 had these "protection ridges". The ridges wrere a better idea.....but they are also made of plastic (doh). So it just take slonger ot grind down to the plastic "pop in rivets". Of course it is time for another belly pan but I have a different job now so I think th eproblem is over and... Low and Behold it has a worse angle (you can tell by all the deep gouges in the asphalt even start way before the peak). I actually have to make a 270 degree sweep in the cove and come at the driveway from the other side and still have to suffer a minor rub. I guess this driveway design is common in Corona, Norco area to control flooding. Or it is because both my last places of work were and are on downhill sections of streets. ..
