he ran a 7.98 i ran a 8.232 if it had been a 1/4 mile track i would have beat him, i was pulling on him hard. i only got to make one run. he was running open headers and slicks. dont know exactly what motor he had. never got a chance to talk to him. i know i can get into the 7's easy.
I thought it looked like he blasted off the line but you were chasing him down like hungry lion after an impala...
