HAHAHA and its not a fart ...

Hey everyone .. been around a little more lately just reading posts, trying to get caught up in what I have missed ... I see you guys are still f'n nuts!!hahaha

anyway .. backing outta my garage .. weathers nice, windows down, I come to a complete stop then into drive and take off under slow acceleration ... i hear this noise ..

I have been hearing a clicking noise coming from the rear .. IT SOUNDS LIKE A LITTLE PEBBLE IN A OLD COFFEE CAN .. now from experience, I know driveshafts will sometimes click, or tink or ping ... my old mans 06 SSR does it .. but I have never heard this before .. I am coming up on 38k miles .. I drive the shit out of it .. Am I leading into a problem ..

By problems I mean, snap the driveshaft yoke at 80 mph on the highway so the driveshaft spins around and takes out your gas tank (which is fulll) causing gas to leak out WHILE your driveshaft is dragging on the pavement (THROWING SPARKS!) ... yeah that happened to me years ago .. almost died ..

Anyone who can help me I would appreciate it .. kinda not into almost dying again!

    Thanks!

That is a new one Anthony.

Glad to see you posting again. lol

I would say it is more than likely a rock in your tire tread. haha

Crawl under the car and see if you picked up a hitch hiker of sorts...

Maybe something came lose and it is vibrating on a moving part???

Sweet talk the Service Manager into warrantying this since you are only 2K miles over...

Let us know what you find.

Yeah, new one to me. Only weird noise from my rear is a squeak under sudden acceleration. Figure its the suspension being creaky. And yes, it is VERY easy to get largish pebbles stuck in strange places under there.

Thanks for the welcome back guys ..

Its not the pebble in the tire cuz the noise goes away under any acceleration ...

I'm going keep driving it until either it goes away or something breaks ..

Knowing my driving habits I bought an addition 7/70,000 warrantly when I bought the car .. I am covered either way ..

Not going back to a dealer for sure .. last time had a few simple problems to get fixed .. left with a cracked bumper and an oil stained door panel

Go press on your center caps and see if one moves a little bit.
