War Stories

Any chance of having a war stories forum? ...for kills and losses.

Just another idea that just hit me.

i have none i need to stop driving like a grandpa, oh wait i always beat danny does that count? lmao

 

I seriously doubt this will happen.

 

I was on another forum that banned a thread like this as it was too risky in that it made the site seem like it endorsed street racing which is bad haha...

i only had one real "race" and it was only up to the speed limit cause it was against a supercharged viper...needless to say...it was not much of a "race"

 

Well its not endorsing street racing as long as someone monitors it. People are responsible for themselves.

There's been already a thread somewhere else on this forum of a kill story.

Eventually as the forum grows I see it being placed in general threads.

 

A sticky should be placed in the forum...

Set rules and monitor the forum and I don't see it as a problem.

No call-outs and so fourth.

Exactly. A local racing board has war stories and its montior heavily. The minute arguments arise or it goes off topic or doesn't follow the rules it gets locked. Warnings are placed and if it continues... actions take place which is usually just locking the thread or deleting it.

 

Its worth a shot. Maybe not something you want but maybe others do. Last I checked it was just a suggestion. I'm waiting for an answer from the one's who can make this happen.

Never said you were.

I'm just saying individuals are responsible for their own actions. War Stories can be any sort of racing. Set a sticky with disclaimer and rules and have someone who can monitor the section highly.

I understand it can get out of control, but with the proper personnel that shouldn't be a problem.

I just don't see justification on posting "war stories" in the lounge or any other forum that doesn't relate to it.

Maybe we need a Drag Racing forum or something them.

 

that would be best...ill just give the example of the other forum...they have the "racing" section...and sub sections in there have "road racing" and "drag racing"...i would def be in favor of that...

wheres king poster chris? haha...can we get this set up?...mains?...ron? somebody? haha

 

Problem I see is there is all sorts of racing...

So there needs to be a forum for Road Course/Auto X as well

 

But when the forums grow and there's people wanting to post war stories where would they post them besides their regional forums?

I think there should be a "racing" forum and the sub forums should be "autox, drag, road, drift" and whatever else there may be...it will get too complicated to do it by region and people would post in all the boards anyways haha

 

A Racing Section with these 3:
Drag Racing
Roadracing/AutoX
Drifting

Should be a great addition to this forum.

No War Stories.
