waking up the dead

    got the magnaflow mid pipes/with cats(off road) installed yesterday.the are connected to the (JBA) catback system.sounds good and the exhaust is gotten even louder between 1 and 2 grand on the rpm.crusing around 40mph,then nailing it sound like a funny car going down the srteet.i get a lil vibration in the seats around 2 grand then it goes away.is this common?

    hehe nothing like a lil more rumble.

    The vibration could be from the new exhaust note, but you may want to make sure nothing is touching the floor pan.

    Or the cross brace underneath the pipes?

    On another note...glad you like the mid pipes!

    like mentioned already, check the cross brace under the pipes. common area for rattles and vibrations. yes, the hi-flo cats definately change the exhaust note!!!!

    are all magnaflow mid pipes/with cats off road? iwill check that brace 2morrow.

    I don't think the highflow cats are considered off road.

    Now my Magnaflow catless midpipes are off road.
