CMW Motorsports and CMW Oil Company would like to send our deepest condolenses to the Shoemaker family.

John Shoemaker, a veteran drag racer from Sacramento, Calif., died from injuries suffered when his nostalgia Top Fuel dragster went out of control and crashed during a qualifying run Saturday at the March Meet at Auto Club Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, Calif. He was 65.

John Shoemaker's "American Eagle" Nostalgia Top Fuel Car was pitted next to us "Lil Nate" Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car. It was extremely hard not to look over to thier pit area and not see John nor see his family's American Eagle Nostalgia Top Fuel Car.
