Got some dress up goodies for Fathers day, and this week end I was finally able to take the time to get her all put together.

I'll start with just a few of teaser shots...

For those not familiar with the Neon SRT interiors, the stock bezel and shift know are silver...I swapped in a black bezel from a regular Neon, and had my aftermarket knob powder coated to match the car.

Cracked lenses = new head lights, so might as well keep with the theme...

New black housing headlights with color matched eyelids.

Now that I know longer have silver headlights, no sense in keeping my rims silver...

I plastidipped the rims, with two coats of clear wheel paint on top, for added protection.

Thanks guys...I've been wanting to do the black rims for awhile, but since I still had the factory silver headlights I left them alone. Since I was replacing the lights, I figured no better time than the present. I just need to start stashing some funds away so I can get the rims powdercoated. The plastidip is just a temporary upgrade.

I say leave it with the plastidip. It's different cause there aren't that many SRT4s that are doing it and the ones that have been doing plastidip the most are the RAM guys and so far they all have nothing but awesome things to say about it.

I want the powder coat, for the long term durability, I had to add the clear coat on top of the plastidip, because every time I tried to put the wheels back on, the socket keep pulling on the plastidip, and ripping it off around the lug holes. Even being very VERY careful didn't help, I know the paint did, but I am concerned with lazy wheel techs who don't care, and aren't careful. I fairly certain one trip there, and I'm going to need to retouch up the rims...:domotwak:

I liked the silver, when I had the silver headlights, but with the trunk and hood blackouts, I always wanted my rims black. I had even painted my stockers black. Before I got these...the dumbass wheel techs who chipped the hell out of my stockers is what cured me of the idea of painting these rims. But, when I went to black housing headlights, I figured, WTH, I'll give this plastidip stuff a shot. Hopefully it will hold 'til I can afford to have them powdercoated.
