We are about to start working on a weld-in 5-point cage for the LX for all you racers who don't really "want" a cage, but need one since you're running so fast in the 1/4 mile. The goal is to make it NHRA legal of course, but also affordable (under $1000) with a swing-put driver door bar, too. This Saturday we are taking our sponsored drag Charger SRT8 to our welding gurus at REM to begin templating the cage. With SEMA fast approaching we may not get started for another week or so, but it'll be in the works just as soon as possible. There will probably be a version for those running our rear seat delete kit (rear bars could go through that) and one for those running a factory rear seat (rear bars could go through the package tray). I will post progress updates in this thread to keep you posted. Please let me know if you are interested in this so we can have an idea how many to make in our first production batch.
