No, it does not. Our next flash device, the Trinity, will have external analog inputs. We dont add it back in for sure, so if it is already off, it will stay that way with our tune. As for the TCM codes, not sure if that is addressed, but if they do not trip a CEL...does it really matter? I should, hopefully, have all of the Beta units here today...I'll let you know as soon as I do. Yes, it is available for the PT right now, but it currently does not offer canned tunes for the PT yet. It will allow you to modify the stock tune by adding boost, pulling some fuel, and even adding timing if you'd like. Canned tunes will be added inthe next revision, which is a free download off our website. Thanks Mike
So Mike the free tuner is out of the question eh? haha Few people can truly appreciate the tunablity of these flashes. However many of us from the mustang world. Some people like standalones, some rather stick with their piggybacks, but every gain those option have had, a diablo or SCT guy has been right next to them.
LOL, if I could give them away, I would.... You are correct though, OEM tuning is just as good as almost any other option, especially for a street car. Look at the power thats being made int he GM and Ford worlds with OEM based tuning... We tune Justin Burchams 8 second, 1000+ RWHP 05 Stang, with a Predator and CMR. Last week we tuned my buddies 00 Vette with twin turbos and made 786 rwhp like it was no big deal, and we have every intention of seeing 4 digit power numbers with that car once it gets a real bottom end in it. Thus far, there has been little to no limit as to how far you can take a stock PCM from all I have seen.
Looks like I am, after the holiday season. Maybe around tax season. I've read more on it and it seems like the best way to go.
well nemo, mentioned something about it as a possible update later on in the future....are you guys working on this?
i figured i'd post in the srt-4 tool section...maybe you guys can help me out. i've had the predator installed now for 3 weeks. first week i had no vac lines attached, forge motorsports wga attached to the turbo, and car ran pretty good. WGA is set at 17 psi spike, 15 by redline. uploaded the 93oct tune, now wga spikes 19, 15 by redline. so after much reading, i attached the red and white line to the solenoids...ever since then, i've been gettin the p1128 code constantly. i've gotten the p0234 once. i've have the latest update/revision from the site. and still have the issue. today, uploaded the stock tune, still have the red and white line attached. till got the p1128 code...and my spike is back down to 17, and 15 by redline.... i'm lost....
I got a p0441 code when I started adjusting the parameters when I first got it and it's still there as well. Even with the flash back to stock and the reset it's still there. Idk what your codes are though.
P0234 TC Engine Overboost Condition P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow I have looked for the P1128 code, but I could not find one for Chrysler/Dodge. There are P1128 codes for other auto manufactures and they differ from maker to maker. Sorry.
P0234-OVERBOOST PERFORMANCE You sure its P1128? I've haven't found anything listed for that and I've gone through 4 different locations for list of codes for these cars. There's P0128 which is: P0128-THERMOSTAT RATIONALITY What that means is that the PCM detected the ECT Sensor did not exceed 170°F after 10-32 minutes of sustained engine operation (the actual time depends on the ECT Sensor at startup). More then likely your thermostat is going or bad. Cheryl's car threw this code a few times and I finally went and bought a thermostat (180) and the code never came back. P0441-EVAP PURGE SYSTEM PERFORMANCE Evap system needs to be looked at, something isn't performing right... something is loose/disconnected or a leak in the system. Do a battery reset. Disconnect the battery negative terminal for about 20-30 minutes. It SHOULD clear the code(s). If they come back, then something is wrong.
Well in that case, I much rather do it using the Predator. Juan and Bryan... have you guys tried that?
I can clear codes through the Predator. And read them...which is pretty cool. only getting two codes...the P0234 (overboost) & P1128 it is P1128, I haven't found it through the forums, but it reads miscalculation malfunction something to that extent...crap, I forgot the exact name, i'm sure i'll get it again and write it down. But i'm always getting it when I'm cruising around, and maybe 1/4 throttle on it. I'll post back up with the exact name, it may be of more help. Right now, I reflashed the stock tune and played with that...reset all the parameteres cause i was gettin more knock with the stock tune (had pulled some timing, then added it back, added fuel, and got like 5 counts of knock...) than I was with the 93oct tune (which I had it down to 1.5 counts, then pulled timing and got 2.5 counts). I'll be checking my knock sensor and plugs today...see what's up, and do a log with the stock tune, and one with the 93oct and compare. I'm thinking if I stayed with the stage 1 pcm and the Predator reflash if things would've been better
