I know that Tim's brother did a lot of bit work for years. Spin and Marty where always fighting or Annette F and going on snipe hunts. LOL
Actually all you guys are wrong....well partially right:grin: Yes this is Winstons jeep that was originally built by KRC and then recently redone by Stage 6. It was brought to Gainesville Raceway this past weekend for an import event that Stage 6 was part of. Dwight from Stage 6 brought Winstons jeep for display and to show the turbo setup. It did not run down the track that day and Harrison was with me at the Rolex 24 in Daytona that day. Those track results are from a few weeks ago in Valdosta, Ga.
It is still running KRC's chitty SCT tune in it. Stage 6 redid the turbo system and fixed the fuel system. KRC's best time was a 12.5....... Stage 6's best time was 11.41...... Pretty sad that Stage 6 knocked off 1.1 seconds off the 1/4 time by just re-doing what they did. Engine wasn't touched. Tune wasn't touched. They're trying to figure out how to get it tuned. Stage 6 isn't a Diablo Tuner and doesn't feel like dropping $7K to become a CMR dealer I think. It'll get tuned somehow before the March NC event. Stage 6 always figures out somehow to get things done. Some of you may remember Joe's Ford GT-TT that was 1400hp. Not a Mustang GT but the GT. Dwight(Stage 6) built that as well.
Thanks Chris and Harrison for clearing that up. Glad big W has gotten things taken care of. Hopefully sooner than later the shitty tune will be removed.
Little update: The turbo jeep is now at Diablosport being tuned by the man himself:hypno: Big results to follow!
