Hey guys ! Just registered here ... been a member of the other site for a while.. I need your help though ... There have been a huge thread discussing Diablo affecting the transfer case and the traction control... Well I have exactly the same symptoms but without any diablo tune whatsoever... I don't even have a single mod on my car... What could have possibly gone wrong and how should i solve this really embarassing issue... i have had it for a while and it really makes me sad :weep:... How should I solve it ??? reflash I guess ? and what should I ask the dealer to reflash exactly ??? Thanks in advance......
Is it all the time or just on wet ground? I would take it to the dealer and have a tech take a drive with you. Make sure you go to a dealer that has a SRT tech or a Dodge dealer where they have a Viper tech.
No dash lights... I am experiencing exactly the stuff mentioned in the thread... - wheelspin -clunking at low speeds -aggressive downshifts - I tried major traction losing stuff and the TC didn,t interfere at all...
Behairy, You need to have your vehicle inspected by your local dealer, The Diablo AWD issue and what you are having are 2 differnet problems, the Diablo issue is a quick software configuration fix, where as the stock pcm would not have the same issue.. Hope this helps
Behairy, I'm experiencing the same symptoms your describing. I didn't really notice at first other than indications at the track. Now that I'm aware of whats happening, I kind of wonder if it was the last shifting TSB that helped contribute. Are you getting any CEL's such as the P0700 (Dashhawk)? I'm also getting very dangerous glitchy behavior when the Jeep sits any amount of time that seems to clear up once I start driving it again. Usually takes a day or two to clear up, but starts with a almost complete shutdown when pushing the throttle.... almost like limp mode but 0 throttle response until it does kick back in and is enough to cause whiplash.... This anything like what your experiencing?
I will try to reflash the FDCM and/or a quick check on the transfer case next time.. I really have no choice as this is the only GC SRT in the country (Egypt) adnthey are not familiar with the car... BTW They checked it before but all they could find was an intermittent signal from the TC something like that and they fixed the signal but the problem is still there... What should I do other than the things I mentioned ?? Dave any suggestions other than a simple dealer checkup ??
