Today I had my Edge 2800 Stall TC and SHR Shift Improver Solenoids installed ... Install was done by a local transmission specialty shop owned by a friend of my family. TC install cost = $412 Soleniod install cost = $160. This included a new filter, trans fluid and a Chrysler dipstick thingy.. The transmission shifts insane now, I am getting traction breaking shifts into 2nd gear, no hesitate and a firm kick to the ass through 4th gear. The TC is more subtle then I thought it would be .. again, no hesitation, no slip and no shutter .. power braking the car off the line roasted the tires .. drivability is still the same, no need to "re-learn" the car .. overall I am very happy .. My shop called Eddie at SHR just to find out more information about the solenoids for his own personal knowledge and Eddie welcomed his questions with open arms and respect .. thank you for that Eddie .. yeahhh man .. I see either my 2nd reckless driving charge or 12th speeding ticket in my near future lol! I thought like $60 .. either way I think they took nice care of me!
Congrats on your new parts. Are the SHR solenoids supposed to make you quicker? Or is it just for more of a kick in the ass feel with no gains?
