This is an article from my local news paper about the ongoing debate over elderly drivers who do 20mph have their turn signal on for 18 miles before they turn and begin braking for that 15 miles before it... I still maintain that people should have to take a drivers test every 10 years....and once you hit a certain age every 5....then every year over like 70 or 75 lol and Hal..sorry for all the comments your going to get LOL!!!!! We all know you dont have an issue with going slow :thongue2:
IDK about every 10 years, for everyone else though. Maybe if you've gotten tickets or accidents, but if you go with out a ticket or accident in that 10 year span why should you have to re-take a test...however, driving test for the elderly seems reasonable to me. Maybe not yearly, but at least every couple of years.
dude have you seen the way some people drive? LOL....i bet most current drivers would fail the drivers test if they got surprised and had to take it tomorrow
hahahahaha you are so right most of them would prob fail. I think this is one of the reasons why my insurance keeps going up.....
Definitely think that we would all fail a test if we had to take it tomorrow. How many of us remember how long you are supposed to wait before crossing over a Railroad after a train goes by? And yes that was a question on my California driver's test. I aced my written and driving test in NJ but had to take the dang test 3 times here in Cali before I passed it. They had stuff on the test that I didn't even know about (we don't have green curbs in NJ or at least didn't when I took the test). I dread the day we move out of Cali and I have to retest in another state...I hope we move to Va so I don't have to retest (so I hear).
