Well.... I honestly don't like the design of the SRT rims. The spoke pattern is okay. It just doesn't flow well with the car, specially when its lowered and black. 17x6 isn't too appetizing either. Very skinny. Not fun having to switch out tires once winter goes aorund specially on low pro's. So I will just purchase rims and throw my Kumho Ecstas on there. Then I can have my black SRT-4 rims for winter time with my nice winter tread.

So my plans are to get some 17x7. This will just about complete the look of my car.

    Colors I am considering

    -Flat Silver
    -Grey
    -Gunmetal
    -Hyperblack
    -Hypersilver
    -Silver gloss

    Spoke design

    -5 spoke (Fatter the better)
    -6 spoke
-Maybe multi spoke similar to the BBS ACR rim

Here are some I am currently looking at:

    MSR Style 090 GUNMETAL GLOSS
    17x7.5
    $141 each

    ENKEI OR52 Gunmetal Gloss
    17x7
    $138

    ENKEI RSV Gunmetal Gloss
    17x7
    $146

    ENKEI RS7 Gunmetal Gloss
    17x7
    $146

DRIFZ 517 Hypersilver (Really like these)
    17x7
    $149

    RUFF RACING 375 Hyperblack
    17x7
    $135

    MSR Style 092 Silver Gloss
    17x7.5
    $141

All wheels were found from www.Wheelsnext.com

Price range is $150 or less per rim.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

    Some more:

    Exel Radius
    17x7
    $108

    Exel GT-S (I like these)
    17x7
    $114

    Nex-o P6
    $126

    ASA JH8
Closeout $109, Like these, look great.

    Sport Edition CD
    $109

    $99

    Sport Tuning
    $117

The ones from TireTack cost $46.80 to ship via UPS... So I have to add that to the price. Around $12 extra per wheel. (Last 4 are from tirerack)

Let me know what you guys think!

Also info on where you guys get yours etc...

    Thanks!

Its going on a slammed wingless bright silver metallic srt-4.

I drive a $13k Neon, remember that. I am not going to spend a small fortune on a set of aftermarket rims. $150 each max. Plus you drive a Charger SRT8, so rims are going to be a ton more since you will be looking at bigger sizes. I got cheap ones in the past and they held up great. As long as you take care of them of course.

Sorry Mains, not a fan of rims with the "rivets" going around them. To each his own. Once it gets lowered it will look great. 4x4 drove me crazy.

I like the clean subtle look, most of the ones I posted do that for me.

    Keep the comments/suggestions going. :thumb2:

Black and silver looks good, but its too common.

    Stevo:
I like your taste. Because those are the ones I am considering as well. Any sites people know of that rate the quality of these wheels? I know they are cheaper, but that doesn't mean its going to be a bad piece..

Hell I like all of them but thats just at first glance. It took me about 2 months to settle on the rims for the charger. I'm sure it will be twice as long once I decide to change out the magnums.

Not sure that there any proposed new ones that look better than the blacked-ouyt factory rims!!!

I'm going through a similar dilema...can't find a new 20" that's dramatically superior to the factory rim aesthetically (but continue looking in the hope that I can alleviate the dredded 80 mph wobble/buzz)

Would be my choice if I had to decide out of the ones you posted.

Side shot with sun glaring on the car.

Sorry, not a fan of the factory wheels, Mag 8.

I heard bad things about the Exel and the Nex-0.. A couple had them bend badly. But that was from hitting a pothole...

Kansas has great well kept roads.

I do not want to do black... The wheels are going to be a type of silver. I am currently leaning towards the ASA JH8,Exel GT-S,DRIFZ 517 Hypersilver ,ENKEI OR52 Gunmetal Gloss , and the ENKEI RSV Gunmetal Gloss .

I want a rim with a lip, and fat easy to clean spokes...

I agree fully with Curtis. But any of the wheels you posted "look" great. I'd take any of them, based on looks, except for the Sport Edition stuff, those look cheesy....

    Lol "Sport Edition"

"What kind onf rims do you have man? I got a set of Sport Edition CD's."

The Sport Editions are made in China I found out. But they are German engineered supposedly.

I see where you are coming from C Love... You pay for what you get. Rims do matter a ton, they go bad you are fooked. Same with tires. Theres a buddy of mine selling a set of Motegi Track Lites 1.0 in Gunmetal for $350 for all 4.... One of them being bent to hell...
They retail for $300 each too. I looked online and I couldn;t find just one...
    Only weight 14.5lbs each. Damn.

I like that EVO 5 but I'm a huge 5 spoke fan. I hate the rims on my truck. Not sure why I even bought them
