So a while back I shipped off my stock set of tail lights to a friend that does LED work. He has done a ton for the neon crowd. He told me he didnt see any good looking LED tails for the charger crowd. I agreed. IMHO most looked funny or to ricerish...Here is the pattern he has laid out. The outer ring will be lit for the halo looking running lights. Then the rest will light up depending on brake/turn signal. If there is enough interest I think I can get him to make a bunch... http://www.teamnitehawk.com/imagebank/Charger/Tail Lights/pair1.gif http://www.teamnitehawk.com/imagebank/Charger/Tail Lights/pair1ani.gif
That is great John and I am sure there will be a HUGE interest. My question is, will we have to replace our current tails? Mine are already painted to match and tinted, so I am NOT going to spend money to have new tails repainted and tinted. If we have to open up our taillights to install the LED's, A very discriptive "How-To" is HIGHLY recommended. Thanks
Yeah I was asking him the same thing Ron. The issue I see is like you mine are painted and I wouldnt want them in the oven to split them...I dont know if its going to be a buy a new set type thing or what. But Im sure I could sell mine for almost what I paid for them and have the new ones repainted...
John, I like the idea of the outside of the tails being lit continuously with the centers flashing. Very slick. I'd be interested, but I've got other fish to fry (as in coilovers, etc). BTW: Ron, when you going to upgrade to the V2's? You know you want to do it (and sell me your V1s).
