A 30-year-old owner of a Dodge dealership wrecked a new Challenger (not the one pictured) in the early hours of Monday morning. Tanner Odom, who wasn't wearing his seatbelt, died at the scene from "multiple blunt-force trauma"—and the Challenger demolished several utility poles before coming to rest upside-down. Reality check, we can't all just jump behind the wheel of 400+ hp cars. Very sad.

I'm guessing it was an R/T or a V6, being that it was an '09, none the less its still sad.

 

Figured he must have inherited it when I read he was 30.

I wonder how many dealership owners/employees wreck hp cars a yr? The former owner of my dealer wrecked a Viper, he survived.

It's really a shame. Something as simple as a seat belt could have saved his life.

 

And just how closely are you tracking their arrival?

 

At the SRT TE one of the instructors said that like 1 in 5 Vipers are crashed on the way home from the dealership. Yikes. Hp will do that I guess.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing but I think he may be tracking 2010 models more closely (the vert's supposed to be a '10 model).
