Due to our need to start getting ready for retirement and our business downturn in the last couple of years, we deemed it necessary. $646.00 a month plus $100.00 a month for insurance. We've only put 13,000 miles on it in 3 years. It was a blast to drive. We will miss it.
It is sad when you need to get rid of your toys; we are weeding ours out too; sold THREE still many more to go.... we still have over 20 cars. And SIX are magnums ~ but we ain't getting rid of any of these ~ LOL~ Best of luck Hal!!!
4 cars of which 3 where high performance, and yes I had 3 tickets in 2008, only 1 left showing at DMV and will be 3 years old in October. Will change insurance companies in October. 1 was a camera in Tempe, and 2 were in Washington in 2.7 Charger rental cars, both 10 over. I carry full coverage and heavy liability on all of them.
Escort Solo (battery operated) FOX News "In 2007, Arizona became the first state in the country to install ticket cameras state-wide, meaning there are cameras on most state highways; there are cameras at many intersections; and there are camera-vans videotaping on side streets. The owner of any car caught going over the speed limit or running a red light receives a ticket by mail."
Had 3 8500X50's, 1 red, 2 blue, and an Escort Solo, that was stolen out of the SRT8 at a carwash. Was in the Tundra leaving an account in Scottsdale when on Scottsdale Rd headed for the 202 freeway. I don't know how, but one of the 8500's didn't go off. It changes from Scottsdale to Tempe a couple of hundred yards before the 202 with a speed drop from 45 to 35, didn't ever see the camera before or since, must have been mobile. I was in the middle lane and needed to move over to the left lane. I didn't even know they had dropped the speed limit either. So 45 in a 35. Later found out it was a new speed trap that sent many to traffic school. They pulled all of the traffic camera's off the freeways and haven't seen a mobile for quite awhile.
I'm paying about $800/yr on a 2006 Magnum And it's classified as a SUV And State Farm doesn't jack things up much for performance cars (or at least less than anyone else). And I got about all the discounts you can get. -- lol, I didn't get the one for under 5K miles a year this time...
I think Phoenix Metro is in 4th place for vehicle theft in the USA. I know it's high, so I won't change until all tickets are gone along with the Z28. Then I'll be a senior citizen, clean record, a Honda and a Chrysler. lol
$1200 annually on the Charger, my most recent ticket (for the tails) turns three in July and the last speeding ticket turns four that month too. Must be something about July.
I don't know... Cam is pretty proud of those cradle rollers. I imagine he rolls it around almost every day just because he can.
