Finally tuned my truck....took 6 months but it was worth it...changed from the VEC to SCT during that time...Torrie with unleashed Tuning did the honors...Torre traveled from FL to my local dyno to give me a custom tune yesterday....He took his time and gave me more than my money's worth...he spent 6 hrs on the dyno with only a 15 minute lunch break....I didnt count the pulls but I am sure they would number 20+..

I found Torrie to be conservative with his tuning...he doesnt try to impress everyone with big numbers...his tune is a balance between power, drivability and keeping your motor together. I am very pleased with how the truck runs now.

Saturday here in east TN was not a great day for making HP on a dyno...humidity was in the 90s and the temp in the 80s....that said I still ended up with great #s.....625HP and 618TQ...

One more thing...I have never bashed on vendors but I will make just a short comment on one that is not a vendor here...and I will not accept him as a vendor here...KRC Performance....

I bought my SCT from Marty of KRC Performance...included was a tune by email on a dyno. I reserved a full day on the dyno and gave Marty a weeks notice...he said he would be available that day until my truck was tuned...

After 4 pulls marty has an "emergency" and has to leave....I left my truck on the dyno and reserved the next day....called KRC at 8:30am the next morning...I was told Marty was on the phone and would call me right back....over an hour later I called again and could not get an answer...same for the next 4 calls that day....I ended up paying $600 for 2 days on the dyno and left with the same tune I drove in with....it has been 10 days I have not heard from Marty..

This is a complete opposite of Torre...he almost answers emails before I can type them....I highly recommend Torre for tuning whether you have a Viper, hemi, GM or Ford...yes...he does them all....

LOL...at least they never squeek.........drivability is great...Torre probably spent 70% of the time dialing that in...this was not just a WOT tune..he covered everything from idle, driving in traffic, cruising on an interstate to blasting down the 1320 at a local track...:dancinlock:

Way cool Larry. I am truely happy and excited for you. It has been a long time coming for that beast of a truck.

Glad you are happy, and yes, Torre is awesome.

As for the other comment, I am surprised that "Dookies" issues did not enter your mind when dealing with that guy!
