http://www.drivesrt.com/en/events/index.html I'm signing up for the SRT Experience:rockon: in Angleton, TX at MSR Houston track on 4/17/08-4/18/08 this is an amazing track and should be alot of fun so if your neaby in Texas or Louisiana try and make this and for those with wives or GF there is PLENTY of shopping and outlet malls nearby:huglove: Here is a link to the track, it has track level photos, video and ariel shots of the track, plus a complete map of the whole track so you can make yourself familiar with names of the turns (trust me when they do the short class at the beginning knowing those will help) http://www.msrhouston.com/
Is the SRT Experience geared up like SVt experience, you drive your vehicle with a SRT instructor or like BMW Ultimate experience where you drive different SRT products in different situations ? I have driven MSR in various vehicles and it can be very fun or technically challenging depending on which way they have course set up. In my RX8 and M3 it was fun on a pretty technical setup, mostly cause both cars were well balanced. In my Cobra it was ok but hard because I pushed so hard in turns. This course is prolly the best for the Jeeps in Texas, it has several straights that give brakes chance to cool off before going thru a agressive series of turns, my Lightning did well. I might start another thread, but would anybody be interested in Test N Tune on the 18th of Jan ? cost is $250 but you can easily put 250 miles in a day.
Yeah, just like you said its actually put on by the Richard Petty team but I'm not sure if you get to drive other SRT vehicles besides the one you come in maybe someone will trade their charger for the jeep for a quick run
