Terrible news...

    The fact your motor held up three years with the paxton s/c would tend to indicate a strong build. I know some piston mfg. today are movingthe first ring farther down the piston to give more land before the first groove.

    Yes sir. And my old Ross lands were dropped way down, as you will eventually see when I share the pictures. lol

    But yea, CMW has proven time and again how stout their motor builds are. My nearly 3 years with this motor has been through loads of conditions and the miles are hard miles. hehe

    wow ron, not what i expected, but not shocked....... i just hope the paxton blower is a little nicer to my pistons.....hehehehehehehe

    i really hope all of the other internal organs are ok and not damaged in anyway....... do you think cmw can fix the lands with a little jb weld???? lol

    Actually NO, it is a true 426.3 cubic inch motor.


    My new one built for boost is a 418 to give the cylinder walls a little more strength
