The fact your motor held up three years with the paxton s/c would tend to indicate a strong build. I know some piston mfg. today are movingthe first ring farther down the piston to give more land before the first groove.
Yes sir. And my old Ross lands were dropped way down, as you will eventually see when I share the pictures. lol But yea, CMW has proven time and again how stout their motor builds are. My nearly 3 years with this motor has been through loads of conditions and the miles are hard miles. hehe
wow ron, not what i expected, but not shocked....... i just hope the paxton blower is a little nicer to my pistons.....hehehehehehehe i really hope all of the other internal organs are ok and not damaged in anyway....... do you think cmw can fix the lands with a little jb weld???? lol
So whats the latest status Ron? I really gotta pay more attention over here. I missed this thread until now:whistle:
Then you need to check out this thread now... http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13331
Actually NO, it is a true 426.3 cubic inch motor. My new one built for boost is a 418 to give the cylinder walls a little more strength
