Dang Ron, sorry to hear that. I guess the flip side is that if it had to happen, that's where and when you'd want it to happen. Also, considering the history it might have been a good idea to tear it down anyway.
Hey!! That's my line...already have his tail lights, had one rim/tire but had to return it.. Have to say Ron, I'm amazed at how persistent/patient you have been with your car and getting it how you want it. Seriously, in the time since you started modding her out, I got married and had a baby (she's 11 months today) and put like 41k miles on my Charger that's only a month or so older than yours. Here's hoping that they get her fixed up right this go round and that you're happy with her for the next six or so months. :friends: And at least the car doesn't sound like this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MP4PzIZzW3g :maddy:
I'm very happy Techco is standing behind this. I feel the pain of waiting for a new outcome. Hats off to the Techco crew.
Sorry to hear of the set back Ron. Do you think they will resolve the problem and have the car back together before SF?
Ron, when I said "No one wants to see your anal beads. Just put them back in your car!", I didn't mean the intake manifold. Put 'em under the soap.
His ride will be ready asap and he will be at the spring fling. we are in process of setting up our booth space now and we will doing everything possible to make sure his ride is still one bad four door!!!! i told the greatone6.1 to stay away from his car last week.
Ron, sorry to hear about the motor....since I was wiating for Techco to finish your car so that I could get with Carlos and figure out what was needed to convert the standard Techco package to a high horsepower package and make the changes to my kit, it would seem that this hiccup might affect my ability to finish my Techco installation.....NOT!!! I am now 90 days into my fiasco, and still dont have a short block!!!! The story is too long to type and too hard to believe. Next time we talk, I will reGURGitate it!! I must say though that my Twin-Screw looks very nice sitting on my office floor!! The cleaning lady dusts the top of it every week!!! Again, so so so sorry to hear about the setback......
hhahahahahahaaaa lol.... Ron's plates should say "i drv hrs" (i drive hers)....:smart::smart::smart::smart:
Thanks Dan. Sadly, it will not be bigger. No money. But it will be looked over and refreshed I am sure. CMW is a GREAT company. Bob and Scott know their stuff and will ensure that any weak links will be addressed and fixed. We are anxiously waiting for the motor to be pulled so we can see what exactly let loose. Oddly, there were no codes thrown.
Carlos this is why you guys are gods in my eyes. I could not be happier with the response from a vendor (supporting or not) It is actions like this that show the shadetree shops and the truly professional. At some point or another you guys will be touching a car I own. Cause when the Jetta is retired from DD duty there will be a new opening in my garage haha
holy crap ron!!!!! brother, i am so sorry to hear the news, but i am happy to hear about the response from techco and cmw. on a side note....... speaking of picking up your discarded parts, i just received a few boxes from techco today......i have not opened them........ and now i am kinda afraid to!!! are they cursed???? lol
