    Hay guys
Have any of you guys had issues with the oil breather vent on the blower losing oil on high speed turns?

I did and Techco sent out a 90* fitting to turn it up. Will see if that does it.

How much oil does it hold?
How offten does it need changing?
    Lot of ?s.

    That will fix it.

Fill it until it is half way in the sight glass.

The oil level should be right below the "bullseye" white circle. call me if you have questions

gotta ask what you mean by "high speed turn"...... to get the car leaning at that kind of angle to get a leak, you either have it too full, or are on two wheels!! lol

Taking turns at 100+ mph at Road America - Elkart lake Wis
thats how I did it, the smell has just starting to go away, it leaked right onto the driver side cat. I thought my rear end was leaking when I brought it into MM but it was this breather vent that is on the driver side of the blower. Good thing it happened to me so others may be aware of it, did any of you Techco customers know that their is a sight glass that were supposed to check, and if oil can leak out doesn’t that mean that moisture leak in.
I removed the 90* ell that Techco sent MM to install and installed a 45* ell with a small nipple then the breather just to bring the level up a bit.

The car doesn’t lean either, it flat as a pancake with the Pedders Track II suspension.
I have replaced all 4 wheel bearings after 8K.
I’m starting to think the beast isn’t up to the beating I’m giving it.

Installing the 90* fitting does not work.

I removed the 90* installed a 45* fitting 2" nipple coupling and then the breather vent.
Took it out for a test run on a clover leaf ramp that I know well, when I got back home I noticed and smelled oil that leaked out of the side of the blower.

I removed the 2" nipple and change it to a 3" nipple installed another 45* then a 90* facing the blower and then the vent.

I am going to Black Hawk Farms Raceway in Wisconsin tomorrow; I will keep you guys posted

They have a oil & a sight glass? I wonder if the breather was the oil smell I was getting. Oh well, I will learn more about this when I pick up my car.

    Oil update

It still leaks out, not as bad though.
I'm going to call Techco today and see if their is another way to solve the problem.
