Okay... As we all know EIBACH now offer's lowering springs for the SRT-8 Jeep. Well, I own a 2005 Grand Cherokee Laredo, but everything else from the SRT-8 Jeep seem's to be bolt on to my ride. I was wondering if I order the EIBACH lowering kit for the SRT-8 Jeep and install it on my ride if I will get the height of a lowered (on EIBACH's) SRT-8? My reasoning... You guys are already 40mm lower than us from the factory. So obviously the SRT-8 Eibach springs are going to be another 1.2" lower on top of the already 40mm. So wouldn't ordering SRT-8 EIBACH springs put my Laredo on the same height as the SRT-8's that are LOWERED on EIBACHs? Thanks!
Not sure about Eibach for the SRT Jeep, but their stuff for the 300, Magnum and Charger's is junk. The rake was horrible and the rdie quality is little to be desired.
Thanks for the input. I really don't care how my ride is. I have a take home vehicle from work that I mostly drive. I am just going for a more "show" aspect.
When did these come out? I have to check them out. You should be at the same hight as a lowered SRT. Have you swapped out to bilsten's yet
If you are going to go with the Eibach kit, I would highly suggest getting some new shocks, preferably the Bilsteins that come standard on the SRT8. I have never looked underneath the laredo, but if you buy the springs, yes your truck will be lowered the same amount. But you are really going to need a shock to go with it.
Cool, I have no problem going with the Bilstein's. Thanks for that... I forgot all about the shocks. Right now you can get them at www.autoanything.com for $245.95 SHIPPED! Part: #2892.540
