Yeah, I knew it wasn't much. I'm doing some more audio upgrades to the Charger next week. And I'm trying to figure out if the stock Kicker amp from the Charger will dish out enough power to push some new aftermarket speakers in the Jeep??? Lookin to do some Infiniti Reference Series 6x9's up front, and 6&1/2's in the back, but don't know if the Kicker amp will power them well enough in the Jeep.......so long as it kicks out about 50w RMS per channel, I should be good. But I can't find out what it does......
Check out post #10 for some specs.. http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10258&highlight=kicker+upgrade Also, if you do a search using "Kicker amp upgrade" there is some great reading...
Kicker amp is 28 watts x 8 @ 4 ohm RMS 46 watts x 8 @ 2 ohm RMS Here is a link to the specs... http://www.kicker.com/sites/default/files/mopar/pdf/KICK18AB.pdf
Ew. That's horrible...... K. Guess I won't be reusing that!!!! Thanks Albert!!! Many kudos to you for your help sir!!!!!!
Chase.... No problem at all... just glad I can help on something in a SRT forum... LOL yeah anything that is OEM is not that great... even Kicker has to follow the specs from Dodge... that whole warranty thing... build it to last and build it cheap... as in price...
