Finally got to the track and had some major issues with the CMR tune from GS. It was actually making the jeep run slower, my times before the heads and cam were way better. I installed the 93CAI Canned Diablo Tune and Wham.......produced some decent numbers, the MPH is what has impressed me the most. R/T: .1299 60ft: 1.81.........was cutting consistant 1.77's in the right lane, got moved to left for this 1/8th: 8.17 @ 83.16 1000ft: 10.67 1/4 ET: 12.78 MPH: 107.84 The DA was +1480..... so I was curious to see what the times corrected to and the numbers would of been: 12.49 @ 108.8........... corrected times don't count. I will be on an All Wheel Drive Dyno this week getting a Custom CMR Tune for my mods, so hopefully that 12.49 will be on a piece of paper this weeked...:grin: Here is a Video of my Races from Friday and Saturday. Thanks Tamara, So when are you getting your Stanko/Mondellos???? I didn't think the inside camera mount would be good there but I am surprised also, the mirrors do show alot.....more intimate compared to the Grand Stands. Thanks Stretch!........I'll PM you when I'm coming to the Q....LOL.
AWESOME Kayce!! You make the best videos bro. I would probably add some fuel to the canned tune brother. I was using the 93CAI tune before I got my h/c/i and kooks setup and was running lean using 94 Sunoco with E10 in it. I added at least 5% across the board, reduced KTR to almost nothing and made more power than what the canned tune gave me. I only had the basics....catback, high flows, CAI, fan mod and 180 tstat. I can see you making doing a lot better with an effective CMR tune. Again, awesome runs and more to come. I'll PM you later with the details of my setup.
Nice ET, especially for the weather. Higher DA like you ran in will make your mods not look as effective as runs in lower DA with fewer mods. The same thing happened to me. I ran a 12.49 with cam, CAI, and ported intake in very good air. Later I added headers and ran a 12.59. I was not disappointed though because the difference in DA was 1800' greater. When correcting for the weather, the headers made a nice gain. I'm sure in your case, the heads and cam made a very big difference. I need to add some heads in the future. Those Mondello heads look very nice.
Thanks Milan, you took the words right out of my mouth. How is the new set up running? I have not been on the boards alot the last few days since my wife got a new job (selling cars...haha) and I have been busy with my 2 little ones in the evening. When 9:30 hits I have been out like a light......some nights I don't even remember getting off the couch and into the bed...lol. Thanks Patrick, I know what you mean for sure about the DA. I was just thankful to see how poor the CMR tune was hurting my speed and times (I actually turned a 13.1), and adjusted to a better tune. I wished I lived closer to the track so I could go more often, it is a good 2 hour trip one way. After the dyno this week I will make another trip to see what happens.
I am getting the R1 Rotors and Pads (Don't know which pads yet) next week, then I am putting the Eibach's on, and when those 2 things are done, then it time to save for the Stanko Heads! I will probably be getting them in the next 2 months....I can't wait! :grin:
I had to watch these again this morning. I'd like to rig up my camera to do this for a Big 3 Track event in June. Awesome runs Kayce hehehehe

Cam + Canned tunes = REALLY BAD! I would not suggest running your truck anymore with that canned tune, I definitely never would have ran it WOT through the 1/4. Seriously man you have to get a CMR soon...
