Excellent! I'm happy it showed up. UPS has been decent to us this month, lol. Show some pics once it's installed. Take care, my friend... -Ryan SP
Waiting to be taken....lol it was 45* last night...screw that hahaha ill get it on at some point in the near future...maybe tonight if i can get home early enough
One thing about this time of year, especially in NY the longer you procrastinate the colder it gets. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.
normally you'd be right but with how messed up the weather has been the last few years...it could be 75 next week lol
finally got some time.... I know the car isnt clean...it was washing it or installing it...couldnt have both LOL and im not going to lie...that wasnt the most fun thing i ever did in my life.... the slots for the top tab thigns had to be widened on my car....and do you guys have any tips on getting those little metal fuckers in in some easier way...i got most of them in and i can get the rest but its just a BITCH lol... oh and I need one more of those little L brackets...i only have 3 :getlost: hahaha thanks buuuuuuuuuuuddys Before........ After.... and looking at these pics....i gotta upgrade to a stainless exhaust LOL
Looks awesome Steve, What a difference the diffuser makes. Copy on the little metal fuckers, and I was only holding the flashlight!!
no but if you look at your diffuser on your car now...they sit about 1/2 inch or so below the top of the diffuser...all the way around (they keep the diffuser attached to the bumper itself. they are very obvious when you take the diffuser off...and by "made bigger" i just shaved a little bit of the bottom down so the CF diffuser tabs could slide in without having to force them....once i did that it was cake to get on.... pull those little metal bitchs back on and your good to go.... OH but the slots are not the pain in the ass...its the little metal things that you put into the tabs... the reason they are such a pain in the ass is cause to put them back in (or get them out) you have to like JAM your hand up behind the bumper/bumper cover and kinda wiggle them out....then try to slide them back in....then find some way to get leverage to get them to "snap" in totally.
Thanks for the info, I'm learning all the tips and tricks to installing this nice and easy before I do mine. Its been sitting in the garage the last few weeks. Think we have a stretch of high 60 degree days coming so gonna install this and finish some other projects before old man winter returns.
yeah thats about it....if i can do it im sure you can figure it out LOL just make sure your little slots on the top are open enough...you'll know if you have to open them up any when you go to install it the first time...try to press each tab in....see which ones fight you...those are the ones to open up... the rest was cake.... like i said...the only thing that takes time...and is annoying...are those freaking little metal clippy things that are a bitch to get in or out lol
Here's the 300 we've been hammering on to adapt the Carbon Fiber Diffuser. It's finished, we're pretty happy with it and we will in time be offering a 300 Carbon Fiber Diffuser. Check it out and we'd love to hear from you.
