I've only seen one aftermarket hood for the GC and it looked aweful, I think the only thing that would look good would be the one they put on the SRT Caliber, IDK I think it would look funky and like the way it is stock

Im sure ill be torched for this but...what if they had a hood like on the GT500 which isn't so much a "ram air" as it is just a vented hood...I think that might look pretty sweet...photochop anyone?

I would love a hood with viper slits on the top.

That Viper grill IMO would be perfect on the GC SRT8, so long as it has a smaller, subtle inlet at the front (just like the Viper) and side vents that maybe less loud than the Viper, but louder/larger than the GC 5.9L vents.

Make it and we will buy it.

That SRT-10-type hood would look awesome if they brought the cowl back toward the windshield (at a matching angle)...leaving just enough room for the hood to open and the wipers to travel.

NOTE: On the SRT-10 trucks, VERY LITTLE air gets in the hood scoop. It's there mostly as a heat vent.
I'm not sure about the aerodynamics of the GC's, but it's something to check on before hoping for a ram air setup and getting 'little girl with a pinwheel' results.

That silver hood is from a guy on the Cherokee SRT8 site. That photo that Tex posted is good, but from a distance it really looks good. It mimics the idea of the Cayenne. Kind of a subtle bulge for heat extraction, looks great in my opinion. The other two hoods posted are what you might see on a Mazda pickup......

I wonder if the guy in Dubai who made that hood for his would consider making a slew of them for those if here who want it? THere are more pics on Cher SRT8 forum and it does look good...
