I after see how my roommates set 4 performed in the snow i have decided that I want to do an SRT-4 Swap into my 2003 neon SXT. I have been compiling a list of parts that I will need to swap out. The only thing is i don't know how complete this list is and how much I need to budget to complete this project. I would like to just buy the block and build it from the ground up. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Way too much info not included for anyone to help you...for instance, you stated you've been compiling a list, but know one else will know how complete your list is, since you didn't post any of it. Anyways, the SRT Neon has different engine, brakes, suspension, and transmission...so unless you are going to get a wrecked donor car for cheap and use all the parts from it, as cheap as these things can be had now, it'd probably be more cost effective to buy one, than to "build" one at this time.
