Alright, quick update this morning. California is still #1 with 152, while Arizona has moved ahead of Utah for second with 16 to Utah's 13. Texas is apparently taking it easy with only six, while British Columbia and Alberta are not far behind with five and four respectively. Nevada has three while there are two apiece coming from Colorado, Ohio, Ontario, Oregon, and Washington. The singular states are Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Tennessee, and Nebraska. Don't see your state listed? Well, check your vacation schedule, call up the hotel and register already!
Oh and there are a TON of SRTs coming already, in case you thought otherwise... 18 300C SRT8 16 Challenger SRT8 2 Challenger SRT8 IE 392 25 Charger SRT8 9 Charger Super Bee 12 Magnum SRT8

You've had plenty of time to make plans, all you gotta do is sign up.

I understand how in the excitement of registering for the first time you might slip or get confused, but we want to make sure everything is right. As excited as I am to see exotic colors like Butane Blue and Deep Lava Red, I’d hate to be disappointed that they aren’t really coming because someone flubbed the color selection. Please make sure to select the correct color and to review your registration or even just look at your listing on the statistics page to make sure all your information is correct. If it’s not correct, post up here or even PM me or one of the guys running this show and we’ll get you straightened out.
The new total is 416, so just 19 since Tuesday night. Another slow day for gains, so time for something different. So you say it’s too far or it’s just a bunch of Californians… Well, we’ve got attendees coming from Germany and Sweden, so odds are you won’t be the furthest. Of the 416 registered, NINETY-NINE are coming from out of state. In fact, TWENTY other states besides California, plus parts of Canada in addition to those guys from overseas I already mentioned. You say it’s too far to drive. Well, we got folks coming from Ontario, Ohio and Tennessee under their own “Mopower.†You think it’s all show cars? Well, I know of many daily drivers (like mine), as well as super-charged, turbo’d, roadcourse’d and autocross’d cars that will be there, plus they’ve got Sam “the Crazy Swede†Hubinette there with the Dodge Motorsports Drift Challenger. You think it’s all SRTs and R/Ts? Well, we’ve got at least SEVENTY V6s registered. Heck, we’ve even got ONE Magnum SXT AWD. Its Southern California in March on a retired air field, with a few thousand? of your closest car forum friends. What is NOT to love? You wondering who’s already signed up to attend? Check this page: http://www.socallx.com/SpringFestival/2011SFStatistics.aspx Now you wanna sign up? Go here: http://www.socallx.com/SpringFestival.aspx Oh and Registration is free. If you hurry you might still get a room at the nearby Doubletree where everyone will be before and after the show for a discount rate. Plus there's shopping for the LX/LC widows, there's Disneyland in semi-reasonable driving distance if you need an excuse for the family to tag along. Seriously, you gotta come check it out and see why so many of us are sooo enthusiastic about this annual event.

Not bad for the first two weeks. If we could maintain an average of 210 per week we'd be at our goal in like three weeks. I'm used to seeing more from Arizona and Texas, but its early yet. I keep having to remind myself that this is only the second year that registration opened so early, so by all accounts we're doing great. Again, get the word out and all it takes is one or two people agreeing to a road trip before it becomes a full blown multi-colored convoy.
