c u there... I'll bring the birfday cupcakes......

    here's some inspiration...

    Things You'll Need:
    Flashlight
    Patience
    A steady hand
An attention span longer than that of a gnat
Step 1 The key to being a great flashlight holder is to somehow keep the beam of light shining exactly where your co-worker is looking at all times.
If you prefer to shine it in their eyses, go ahead and run away from them now. It may get ugly later.
Step 2 Make sure you are as interested as possible in what they are doing. Even if it is the most mundane, boring job that they need to get done, or, you don't understand the technical aspects of what they are doing, try to act like you care just a little, and that you are actually a key part of getting the project done. It will make holding the flashlight seem more important to you.
Step 3 Stay as focused as possible. Now matter what, PAY ATTENTION! Don't look around the room, garage, basement, etc. Focus on the same part of the project as your co-worker, or you will find that the beam of light has migrated from the work site. Or worse, into the eyes of your cohort.
Step 4 Don't Move a Muscle Stand as still as possible. If you are shaking, itching, swaying, or moving in any way, the beam of light will also move. You may need to brace your arm on something, but be prepared to hold still. If you are outside and it is really cold or blazing hot, deal with it, your co-worker is, and they obviously have something that needs to be done. Make sure to dress for the occasion (so you are not shivering, or wiping away sweat constantly).
Step 5 Keep the flashlight beam in your co-worker's line of sight at all times. This might ask for some creative positioning from you. You may need to be behind them, or under the project with your arm extended upward, just for example. Always pray they need to go find a tool or they drop something to give your arm a break. Oh, you'll probably have to provide the light to find whatever they just dropped.
Step 6 Just remember, they need to see what's going on, you don't. Keep the flashlight beam pointed at the work site and hold still. If they move the flashlight and ask you to hold it there, try as hard as possible to keep it aimed where they have it. Good luck. :D

doubt it. Break in will be on dyno, but probably want to give it a week before I beat on in.

I understand that...felt the same way. Most say the best way to break it in IS to beat on it.
    Maybe next time.

Yup, we've discussed it on another forum (getonitracing.net). And actually, he was the one who set it up...BUNCH of people going just to see the car and him run...should be a good day. Wish you could come.
