I encourage everyone to bring cameras and video equipment. I'll have three DV cameras with me, tri-pods, and a digital camera or two. I have an in car video bracket that mounts off the headrest to do in car. Obviously we want to get the skid pad and track work for the benchmark testing on video. When that is out of the way we should be able to get shots of the group. I could use some help with the video work.

1. Any additional DV camera at the event I would appreciate your help in getting as many turns and hot spot shots as possible. I have a stack of DV tape with me so we can just swap out mine for your.

2. Digital stills are the same deal. I'll have a laptop with a San disk card reader as well as a couple of extra disks. The more stills the better.

3. I still need a box stock OE LX for our benchmark runs on the skid pad and on the track with the NASCAR drivers. Do I have a volunteer?


I forgot to mention I have two Go pro Cameras too.

Please bring all your gear. I will work with Dan and the track to get the possible access for video and stills.

You should be able to use you in car camera.

With a professional still photographer on site and all the cameras we will have there should be incredible coverage of the track. We do our own in house video work at Pedders using a video editing station and Premier Pro CS4. The more high quality, high res video I collect the better the DVD will be. Oh I forgot to mention that. We will burn a DVD for the event and send one to each person that attends. Make sure we have your full name, snail mail and email addresses.

Got my timer today.

As a suggestion get some extra long Zip Ties and some 9v batteries.

Ill try to get mine mounted up tonight and take a few pictures.

I think I ripped an earring out taking my helmet off .. fuck these things run small

 

Just throw it in the microwave for 5 mins, works great

 

dan .. please explain .. you can throw the whole helmet in the microwave for 5 minutes and it breaks it in ... please post ASAP with the whole process .. thanks!

 

Ya, wrap your helmet in aluminum foil. I like to put a fork in with it to.

When do we get to do this again?

 

Rob - I could be up for doing this again, if we can get the $$ sorted out a bit sooner next time around and get a solid comitment from HoD for coaching I would be up for running it again. We have first rights to that Date next year.

Not too sure of Dans feeling on doing another one.
