Personally, I find this new quiet option an awesome development. I always found the unit a great piece but couldn't get past the marbles-crunching noise it was making in the videos. I'm sure that the first units like this didn't sound this way in person though. Great work on the update fellas.
no....... brad ordered a motor from a company then waited almost 5 months of being told "it is almost done"...... finally gave up. you have heard of the infamous i-charger right?? the best s/c known to man that was being developed by gsm. another pipe dream..... put to the two together and it makes me chuckle! lol every techo blower i have heard sounds like it is crushing rocks!! lol just like my paxton blower....... it gives it some "personality"!! lol that and i love when i have people walk up to me and asked what is wrong with my car when i am stopped at an idle!!! dahahahahaha
I had a Vortech on my 98 Mustang that, per Vortech, was the loudest unit they heard leave their facility!! Me likey!! Before I slap this TECHCO on my new ride. . . I want to chew on the gears myself to make it the most obnoxious - what the . . . . s/c on the road!! Just sayin. . . :zorro:
i hear ya ned!!! lol i really like the sound of my paxton........ what i like even more is that it has had zero effect on KR during tuning. my last trip to johan saw zero KR through the rpm range. i have not heard this about the "rock crushing" of some techco units..... not all, but some.... but i guess this could be the case for anything! lol
Well thats why we developed the QD system. . . to "silence" the people not partial to crushing rocks. Everything in life revolves around choice! :grin:

What exactly is the quiet drive??? somthing internal?? Bearings?? Gears?? new outer drive system??? I am real excited, but not really sure what part of my blower to be excited for,except for quietness.. So Techco Gang explain the quiet drive puhleeez..
