Reminds me of a movie, Run Deep Run Silent..Noise reduction in subs, now we have noise reduction in SC, I love it!!!
So I am confused does the QT one make less power or will it flow the same as the Loud one? why didnt they just make a QT one in the first place?
Maybe needed some sooper seecret coating or beveling for the gears? I always thought most of the whine came from the gear drive?
Same power just quieter, I think this is just in response to those that like to 'whine' instead of enjoying the 'whine' of a twin screw lol. Personally I wouldn't want a totally quiet blower, but some people do, and now Techco has made that choice available!:mains:
Please don't take offence but it is called progress, every company does this from cr models,phones,computers,etc......
just didnt know if you guys where loosing any power in the band for the price of being less loud. so how much is it goign to costto change head units for people that have already got a loud one?
We are releasing as soon as I have video. Once I post video I will post all details. No power lose at all BTW- congrats on your KB and being the first one!!!!!:king:
Have you guys addressed the oil leaking out of the side better than the current fix that realy does not work? Hi Tony "I would not recommend a check ball or other item that stops the breathing function on the blower, the best way to solve this for track driving is to put a fitting in with a 90 deg barb end , point this up add a section of hose, and then add a K&N breather filter on the end. Mount this up high under your cowl, you should be able to get this up higher than the blower and will stop any of these issues. Thanks Billy"
Drive it for a week or so, get a time or two and then upgrade. Why wait? The 6.1 8lb pulley gives you 5.5 to 6 psi on a 426, and with the right injectors and tuning, you can get plenty of fuel in there to keep it safe and running strong. BTW, Go Tigers.
Well.....I'll find out in awhile if I get the QD or not........if I do...I am sure Cam will report how it feels and sounds.
