Excellent job boys..........so far so good.

It idles much smoother with the HHP cam than the Comp 268. The stall converter is wicked. I never knew it would make that much difference.

Just got to figure out, since trying several tunes, why immediately after launch the tranny shifts into 2nd.

I figured out why it launches so hard and then lays over.....its immediately hitting 2nd gear. My E55 did that occassionally as well.

That stall really makes them jump out of the hole nicely. I know the guys at Diablo are working like mad scientists on the TCM. We know first hand on Trojans car what the TCM can take away from in power to the wheels not to mention the lame shifting it gives. Steve instead of mashing her in drive, use the shifter in you want to stretch her legs a bit. I know the stall and cam are gonna get you to rev limit a lot quicker so you yourself need to be a little quick on the shifting. Next week when I finish your VE's we'll see where she pulls to and perhaps bring your rev limit up to where I like to have them. Glad your happy. Thanks

Josh I have tried it both ways......maybe I need to try "stalling" it a bit so it doesnt spin the tires so violently.

Did you hear it yesterday when I left your shop!!!!! LOL!!

No, I had the radio on in my truck lol. If youu flash the converter "just mashing it" she should stall up to 3,200+. Brake stall "holding the foot brake and gas to the point the tires start to spin" should be around 2,800 or 2,900 rpm,s. Flashing's more fun, I'm looking at your program right now and I see something that I might talk to diablo about. I'll let you know if it's a fix.

I believe I fixed his tranny settings. So now it should just run out WOT and shift no problems to 2nd and 3rd.
