This is great news, Diablo might have a lead in the learning curve but it doesnt mean they or Dave will be the best. Time will be the telling factor, Wesley use to be the only game in town back in the day, Posea and Johnson came into the picture and IMO SCT is the best/only software for Fords. Correct but as you remember back in the day Autologic(same as CMR) was the only way to go, Today, its SCT. Today could be Diablo(CMR)/Dave B&G,tomorrow could be SCT, only time is going to tell. Lets not let brand loyalty cloud judgements on which product will actually be better. I still bleed Ford blue but Im not dumb enough to think a 06 Mustang Shelby can even be compared to a 03 ZO6. JMO
Dave is a dealer for SCT as well, so he will have the ability to tune with the SCT software when it comes out.
You know, things are starting to look up for us SRT8ers. Big bore kits, heads, cams, headers, FI options, nitrous kits, tuning options.....now that the ball is rolling, I bet that more manufacturers will jump in with their products. The future looks good.:beer:
This is very good news! I assume a SCT product for the 08's will not be out for a while. Just make it a short while......please.
