I can't stress enough how cool it is living close to Pleasanton... In a fifteen minute walk up and down Main Street after brunch I saw a "LOOK AT ME!" Yellow baby Lambo, a BMW Alpina (never seen or heard of that) and this beaut: Also saw several "finned" old Chevrolets and even saw Truckzilla (my damned neighbor) trying to find a place to park amongst all the Mercedes, BMWs and Lexuses.
Eh, didn't want to be too touristy. Oh and a blue/white stripe Viper. But it was headed the other direction and I was too busy drooling...
no kidding tam....... man i used to love it when i worked on las positas and would have lunch down in that area every day while at work!!! i do miss that area!!!!
i just sold my condo right there on st marys.... i miss it i lived at the pub right there REDCOATS for about 2 months straight
Cool, but you know Tam that Los Gatos and Saratoga down here are FULL of that kinda shiat. Can't throw a rock in any direction without hitting a Porsche, it makes me feel quite inadaquate sometimes, lol!
lololol Dave oh Dave, I also lived in San Ramon. hahahaha Here, let me list where in Cal I have lived... San Jose 1965 - 1977 Watsonville 1977 - 1979 Lodi 1979 - 1982 San Ramon 1982 - 1987 Fort Ord 1991 - 1993 lol There now. Any questions? haha
Yeah I know. Pleasanton still has or at least had the highest per capita income in the US. Explains the Carrera RS, the numerous RR phantoms, and Maseratis I've seen just tooling around town. Going to Safeway, McD's and Best Buy like its no big deal.
haha that was the BEST Golf Course other than Pebble Beach in the entire state. We used to have to pull Guard when there were high profile Tournements. And that was Black "Horse", not Black Hawk. lol Real Estate listings for Black Hawk City. http://www.homes.com/Real_Estate/CA/City/BLACKHAWK I see they renamed the Golf Course to BayonetBlackHorse? Guess they did that after Fort Ord closed down? http://www.bayonetblackhorse.com/
Wow, $4M for a really weird house with a view. But that fixer upper for $1M looks like a steal  The two courses are are still separate as far as I know (same club house as always). Black Horse AND Bayonet. Bayonet is the longer, more classic course and Black Horse is shorter and a bit more tricked out.
had the priviledge to play at bayonet back in 98'....... man what a beautiful course! i played one of the worst rounds of golf in my life and enjoyed every minute of it!!! lol
Lol, I know, doesn't that drive you crazy!!! I always see this guy with a new Bently Continental R coupe pull into Rotten Robbies gas station right around the corner here, it's like ... WTF?!??! Dude, $150K for the car and you can't afford Chevron?!?! Hahaha, you know the car is thinking ... "dammit, I hope no Rolls or Maybachs see me!" Lol!
