    I have a question.
I aquired a set of gutted Magnaflow mids and i want to install them on my car, my question is should I get the car retuned for the gutted mids?
I have a Stock block 6.1 with corsa exhaust and a Techco Blower with a custom tune.
Any info would help me greatly..

    I doubt it. Maybe?

Gutted mids are not going to make a radical difference so you would be retuning to optimize and not because you're liable to hurt anything.

Got a wideband? Know your wide open throttle (open loop) AFR when it was tuned? You would check to see if it changes and how much with the gutted mids. Then you would know or could decide if it needs retuned. Closed loop the O2s will take care of it. Part throttle boost I don't know about.

No wideband? Log for knock retard in open loop. If it's worse than it was before and you're getting over 5 or 6* knr then you might want to get it retuned.

Lol, Ron is the techo guru/fanboy around here...
