Only after being pulled over by the local CHP for no front license plate, I decided to install a removable license plate holder.

I picked up a kit made for a Corvette, and modified it to fit our Chargers.

Now when I attend a car show, I just remove two wing nuts, and remove the license plate, and holder leaving behind two very small studs that can't be seen very easy.

Here is how she looks without the front plate attached.

    Too much work.

I like my flip front plate holder. Flips down and slides in under the bumper. Virtually unnoticable. AND, no holes made to the outside of the bumper skin. ;)

Very cool - no plate for me either, and I know its just a matter of time until a ticket.

I looked at the hide away brackets, but couldn't figure out a good location that wasn't going to have the plate ripped off on the first high speed bump, etc. Plate didn't fit in any of the openings in the fascia, so it seemed it had to go at ground level. Plus, they don't seem to hide away enough to me...

I considered using the same kit, but being that I'm bagged, it just wouldn't work for me.

Thanks... The chipper had a field day with me!!

    Thanks Bro!!

This would be awesome if my car wasn't delivered with the LP Frame already installed :(

Huh??? Wouldn't work? The plate holder mounts just under the bumper (same as what you did), not under the chin. Just sayin.

Either way, they both work and look good. ;)
