I know dynos are for tuning only.....but everyone likes numbers.

You really mean to tell me that no one wants to see the numbers from a quad screw blower system.

In "my" opinion it was impossible to tune with dual throttle bodies. Steve says the magazine shoot requested something more normal so he took one off. He also said that he was going to race at Zmax event and didn't want anyone saying he beat them unfairly becuase he had 2 superchargers. Steve seems like a great guy, I met him last year we all had a few beers and he told some funny jokes so I see why people like him. He's a cool personable guy. I'm dissapointed in the seemingly lack of humility. He's painted himself into a corner of being the "hemigod" and when something doesn't work he makes excuses, rather than just say it was "too hard to tune with dual throttle bodies or whatever" and I would have respect because no one else has done it either. This is not a slam to you Steve just some insight from an outside source. If you act human people will treat you human, act like a god and they will hold you to those standards as well.

Is he still going to ZMAX? They moved it to May 3rd because of rain. I want to run him.

Can't answer that only he can. I will say by looking at the video it damn sure runs great on 1 supercharger. He's got quite a few years of drag racing under his belt so you better step it up. I'll be looking for you at some events as well. Then you can hear my blower whine as it goes by LOL

Hey Mate thanks for the comments and certainly no offense taken, however dual throttle bodies are tunable no worries, and the reason as you will now see on other forums for removing the superchargers is because i needed one for bjb's jeep as the headunits were on back order and i wanted bjb to have something special as a surprise for zmax(it was a secret from bjb until the final week before zmax), by the way i aint no god and certainly dont ever want to be either and im nothing special at all im just another guy, anything is tuneable though and takes time, we certainly got the system to run well, but i found it better for both magazines to feature something that people could buy and fit to their vehicle as well as more importantly i wanted bjb to have something on his car, and this is far more important to me seeing a friend happy than proving a point to people on forums and it doesnt matter what you do you will always get knockers, and to be honest im totally over the internet and forum stuff, i couldnt care wether people like me or not, i dont care wether i do work for them or not, as long as im happy in myself and happy in my relationships this now is my only concern, i moved here to the states not the take the tuning world by storm or anything else that people post, i moved here because i love the american people and i think the world of this awesome nation, its people , its places and the wide range in cultures. I have very much grown to love this great nation and the people here and i feel thats its a place that i want to bring my daughter up and somewhere that both my wife and my daughter can feel safe and grow in themselves.
Personally you will notice that my posting on forums has dropped off greatly of late and it will probably reduce even more in the future.
I appreciate your comments and i hope that you appreciate mine sir.

thank you and have a great weekend whats left of it
    Cheers steve

if im there im there and if you line up beside me it would be my pleasure to race you for fun

I agree with Steve that 2 TBs are tuneable, I had 2 TBs on my car for over 2 years (not always running perfect but we got it), only took the 2nd one off when we installed my ProCharger

Wasn't your second throttle body on a switch so it was a WOT type thing?Don't I remember you having all kinds of limp mode issues because the throttle blade on the second TB wouldn't close all the way ?Didn't you try to make some kind of block off plate for when you were traveling so that the second TB couldn't suck air past the blade?I don't remember you being able to drive part throttle with both throttle bodies.

They are not. We do not have the adjustability in the air flow tables to do so. Can they work, sure can, mine work great. But I still get the occassional TB limp mode, it's rare, but it stilll happens.

Big difference between being able to use them and tuneable with no issues.
