I got into a race this morning in phoenix, completly wasted a vett. We went two rounds, first round was a rolling start 20mph. i pulled so quickly hit about 100 and started to slow down he was about 2 car lengths behind me. the second round was off the red light. his front bumper stayed by my driver mirror till we hit about half way accross the intersection, then i was gone once again. it was nice finally getting into a race with a real car.
SRT-8's are easily as quick as C5 Corvettes, and can even hang with C5 Z06's. But don't mess with late model C6 Vettes. The 08's kicked it up a notch more than even the '05-'07 C6's, and you can't tell which year C6 you're up against.
